Anglers above 17 years of age and older will have to apply for a fishing license for Steelhead fishing.
Southwest Lower Peninsula
The Southwest Lower Peninsula in Steelhead has five major fishing sport; Grand River at Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Muskegon River, and Muskegon Lake. In Grand River at Grand Rapids, water levels are high here with a good amount of lake trout and steelhead have been caught as large as 18 pounds. The dam at Rockford can be a good spot to start here.
